How do I get Zoom?
Go to zoom.us and sign up for a free account.
For PC and Mac users, you'll get instructions on how to install Zoom onto your computer when you join a webinar for the first time.
For Phone or Tablet users, search for the Zoom App via the App Store or Google Play.
How do I connect the audio?
If you're using a Phone or Tablet, the audio will connect automatically using the microphone and speakers for that device.
If you're using a PC or Mac, you can connect via phone call or computer audio (computer audio recommended).
How does a webinar work?
When you join a webinar via the link and password given in your confirmation email, you'll see your host (me!) as the main element of your screen.
It's similar to watching a Facebook Live, so you won't see any other participants.
It's a view-only experience, but you can interact at certain times during the webinar by typing questions. You can also write messages in the chat section.
Please note that to join the webinar you'll need to click on the link given in your confirmation & reminder emails.
I haven't received a confirmation email. What do I do?
- your spam and other inboxes
- you entered your email correctly on registration
- you've waited at least 30 minutes
If you still haven't received a confirmation from Zoom, email firstname.lastname@example.org
Please check for your confirmation emails in good time for the event. Reminders are sent out 24 hours and 1 hour before.
What happens in your webinars?
If you've ever joined me for a Facebook Live transmission, you'll have received my online guided meditations and energy work.
Zoom webinars will use a similar format: I'll talk on a subject for a little while, then take you into a deep meditation and healing activation. We'll connect with distant energy healing and the frequency of spirit guides.
You'll be in a receiving mode for most of the workshop. There will usually be a 10 minute Q&A opportunity at the end of the session.
I've registered for the webinar, but can't join from the link provided. What can I do?
Some options to try if you're unable to join the webinar:
- try clicking the 'Join' link from a different email confirmation e.g. the most recent reminder email
- try from a different device
- Zoom recently upgraded to 5.0. Get new version here: https://zoom.us/download
- Check the version of Zoom you have running https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/201362393-What-Version-of-Zoom-Am-I-Running
Help! I still can't join the webinar 🙁
You can contact Grace at email@example.com but be aware that it may not be possible to figure out why you can't join.
If you can't join, you still have the option of being sent the recording the day afterwards. If you don't want the recording, we'll give you a refund.
Is the webinar recorded?
Yes! And you can keep the recording.
Please don't worry if you can't make the live transmission, as the recording link will be sent out to you shortly after the event via email.
